Detect: Link Ends

Description

Identifies and highlights ends of links that are not connected to other links or elements according to rules set under View Settings: Free Edge Tab.

Once set, the function remains active to dynamically highlight link ends as the model is changed. To stop highlighting link ends, deactivate the function.

Dialog

A number of selection options may be applied upon activating the function.

Select whole link

If set, links with identified free ends are selected.

Select nodes on free ends

If set, nodes on identified link free ends are selected. Cannot be set in conjunction with Select nodes on link.

Select nodes on link

If set, all nodes on links with identified free ends are selected. Cannot be set in conjunction with Select nodes on free ends.

Right-click functions

Right-click the Detect/Link End icon to open View Settings: Free Edge Tab.
