The icon at the top-left of the tools dialog provides a shortcut menu for quick access to related tools.
A component is an edit box containing a value (e.g., a number representing the X direction increment when applying the move tool) or a formula that is evaluated to produce a value.
Opens the Straus7 Interface: Equation Editor dialog to define values according to a formula or mathematical expression. See Straus7 Interface: Entering Numeric Data and Formulas.
Distances may be defined on the model using the hot pointer by clicking two points. A point may be a node, a vertex or snap grid point.
Many of the tools require the selection of points for the definition of a feature like a line, a plane, or just a point. A point can be a node, a vertex or a grid point. The point numbers can be entered manually as integers in the edit boxes, or retrieved from the model window by clicking points. When entering integers manually, the type of point (i.e., node, vertex or grid point) can be specified by clicking the label to the right of the edit box and selecting from the popup menu.
If set, entities remain selected after executing a tool function. Additional functions may then be applied without the need to reselect the entities. If not set, selected entities will be unselected after the function is executed.
