ST7-1.40.40.22 Applying Pad Eye Loads
This Webnote illustrates some common techniques to apply loading to a pad eye modelled with plates and bricks.
We will look at several configurations to apply a force of approximately 1.4 kN to the pad eye:

Uneven Load Distribution with Bolt
Pressure Distribution
To create rigid connection, use Tools/Auto Assign/Restraints/Rigid Connections and then apply appropriate loading to the master node.
