Pultrusion is a continuous composites manufacturing technique whereby fibre is pulled through a series of processing steps, resulting in a cured continuous shape. Pultrusion typically consists of a unidirectional fibre core, with the ability to add a continuous braid around the outside. In this example we will cover the stress analysis of a handrail subject to bending and external pressure loads.
