ST7-1.50.60.2 Link Forces
Links do not produce output like other FEA entity types (e.g. plate elements). We must instead extract the forces from links using one of two techniques, which are outlined below. The first involves Element Node Force, which is used to create free body diagrams at the link interface. The second makes use of Node Reaction output, which holds the forces due to restraints and can be modified to extract link forces as well.
