Master-Slave links provide a method of directly relating the degrees of freedom of two nodes in the mesh. These link types are normally intended to connect small gaps. Since the length of the link is not considered, usage over large gaps can lead to some non-intuitive results. This Webnote outlines the behaviour of Master-Slave links in some specific situations.
