This Webnote examines the options and the handling of solver restart files. Three types of solver restart files are available depending on the type of solver considered:
Static Restart Files (.SRF), generated by the Nonlinear Static solver; Quasi Static Restart Files (.QRF), generated by the Quasi Static solver; and Dynamic Restart Files (.DRF), generated by the Nonlinear Transient Dynamic solver.
