Face Attributes: ID

Description

Assigns IDs to selected faces.

When the geometry is automeshed, plates created on the face will inherit the ID attribute of the face (see Plate Attributes: ID).

IDs can be used to group faces together or for other user-intended purposes.

Value

The ID as an integer.

If a real number is entered directly or as the result of a scaling operation, the ID is rounded to the nearest integer.

IDs may be positive or negative.
