Scale Tools: by Taper (Nodes and Elements)

Description

Scales selected nodes and elements by tapering them along a line.

The new position of the node is calculated by scaling the difference of the selected ordinate between the original position and its perpendicular projection to the line.

Coordinate System

The coordinate system (UCS) in which the scaling direction is defined.

Only Cartesian coordinate systems are supported.

P1 / P2

Two points that define a line about which the scaling operation is performed. The line is unbounded.

Scale 1 / Scale 2

Scaling factors at P1 and P2 respectively.

Axis

Ordinate to be scaled in the selected UCS.
