Import: NASTRAN File

Description

Imports a Nastran finite element file with file extension of .dat, .nas or .bdf.

Dialog

Name

Opens the file dialog to locate and select the NASTRAN file to be imported. Note that files can also be imported by using drag-and-drop directly onto the Straus7 model window or startup screen (see Straus7 Interface: Startup Screen).

Import Units

Units system in which the source Nastran file is defined. The imported file is converted to the current units of the Straus7 model based on the import units selected.
