Brick Attributes: Local Axes

Description

Assigns a coordinate system (UCS) as the local axis system of selected brick elements.

Brick local axes attributes are independent of load and freedom cases.

Common Uses

Typical uses include defining the orientation of orthotropic and anisotropic materials, defining the orientation of pre-loads, and extraction of displacement, stress and strain results in the local axes system.
