Link Attributes: Shrink Type

Description

Converts selected links to Shrink type and sets the shrink directions and control freedom case.

Attachment and Coupling links cannot be converted to Shrink links.

Shrink Directions

Directions in which the shrink link is active, expressed in the global coordinate system.

Nonlinear Control Freedom Case

Freedom case used to specify the relative shrink amount in a load step of a nonlinear analysis. This allows for a partial or progressive shrink displacement to be enforced between the nodes, based on a factor applied to the freedom case in the load step.
