Move Tools: to Origin

Description

Moves selected entities so that the specified reference point is relocated to the origin of a coordinate system.

The coordinate system (UCS) in which the origin is defined.

Method

Method used to specify the reference point to relocate to the origin.

• Min XYZ

  The reference point is set as the corner with the minimum global XYZ coordinates of the bounding box around the selection. The bounding box is axis-aligned with the selected coordinate system.

  This has the effect of moving the selection into the positive octant of the selected UCS. The model will be located such that it touches each of the principal coordinate planes of the UCS.
