SOLVERS: Steady Heat Settings
Description
The Steady Heat solver calculates the steady state, or long term equilibrium, temperature distribution in a structure. The solver considers three basic modes of heat transfer: conduction, convection and radiation.
For each load case, the solver calculates the temperature at each node (analogous to displacement in a structural stress analysis), the element thermal flux density (analogous to stress in a structural stress analysis) and the nodal flux (equivalent to node reactions in a structural stress analysis).
