SOLVERS: Filtering

Description

Selects groups and properties for which results are to be saved in the result file.

This feature can be useful as a way of reducing the size of the results file, by not generating element results for some parts of the model. Note that this applies only to the element-specific results; node result quantities such as displacement, are always calculated and stored in the results file.

A yellow cube in the group tree or a checkmark in the property lists indicate that the group or property is selected for results generation. Conversely, a white cube and no checkmark indicate that a group or property, respectively, are not selected for results generation.

The results of an element are only saved if both its group and its property are set.

Selections

Selects all, clears all, or inverts selected groups and/or properties.
