Beam Attributes: Pre-curvature

Description

Assigns pre-curvature in the direction of the principal axes of selected beam elements.

A beam with positive pre-curvature is assumed to be pre-cambered towards the positive direction of the principal axis. Applied to an unrestrained beam, the pre-curvature attribute produces a resulting curvature in the opposite direction.

Pre-curvature does not produce axial strain in non-offset beams.

Pre-curvature attributes are load case dependent.
