Node Attributes: Heat source

Description

Assigns a scalar heat source to selected nodes.

The value of the heat source can be scaled as a function of time and/or temperature.

Heat source attributes are load case dependent and are used only by the heat solvers.

Factor vs Time Table

A table that scales the heat source value as a function of time.

This is applicable only to the Transient Heat solver.

Factor vs Temperature Table

A table that scales the heat source value as a function of nodal temperature.

This is applicable to both the Steady Heat and the Transient Heat solvers, provided the nonlinear option has been set for the analysis.
