Plate Properties: Load Patch

Description

Used for the definition of load patch properties.

Proximity

Relative tolerance

Tolerance used to determine if a beam lies on the load patch plate.

The distance is calculated as (Relative tolerance) × (Average plate edge length).

Beam elements that are within this distance from the load patch plate will receive their proportion of attributes applied to the load patch such as area load and non-structural mass.
