SOLVERS: Quasi-static Settings
Description
The Quasi-static solver has attributes of the Nonlinear Static and Nonlinear Transient Dynamic solvers.
Like the Nonlinear Static solver, it calculates the nonlinear static equilibrium of a structure considering geometric, material and contact nonlinearity. Like the Nonlinear Transient Dynamic solver, it operates in the time domain, so it supports time dependency of materials, including creep nonlinearity, and time dependent loading. But unlike the Nonlinear Transient Dynamic solver, it ignores dynamic inertia effects, and each result step produced is considered to be in a state of static equilibrium.
